The idea of this Blog is to share reading experiences with our school community and general public, using English as the main communication tool.
It is connected to the 8th grade English Classes at Marista Arquidiocesano, though it is not part of the curricular activities.
It is a space to talk about what you are reading, what you’ve read and what you want to read, and, in the process,
be in touch with the English language.
Though I had the original idea, it is being developed by the students and it is supposed to be a participative
process where there aren’t specific roles of teacher or student, but fellow
readers who want to read and write about their reading experiences. Following
this guideline, the focus of using English here is to communicate ideas,
therefore, if this goal is achieved, no grammar or spelling correction is made
and the texts are not necessarily checked beforehand.
